ABCD Dinner Meeting - February 1st
Presenters Bryan J. Spangler, PE & Ronald J. Ladyka, PE will be presenting "AREVA Superload Move - Three Mile Island Steam Generator Move". This presentation will focus on the infrastructure challanges involved with the most complex and largest superload move ever completed in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

2010 Engineer's Banquet - February 18th
Join the celebration of the 2010 Engineer's Week (Feb. 14 thru 20) by attending the Engineer's Banquet on Thursday February 18th @ the West Shore Country Club. This years speaker will be Sue Coleman, the project manager for the supply and delivery of the new steam generators for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant. She will give a overview of the planning, preparation, coordination and design that was involved for the delivery of the steam generators. Including any bridge modifications or temporary shoring of bridges crossed in the move. RSVP by Feb. 5th. Details

ABCD Bridge Awards
The Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the 2009-2010 ABCD Awards Program. Awards will be presented for bridge projects in the following categories: Outstanding New Short Span(s) Bridge, Outstanding New Multi-Span Bridge, Outstanding Rehabilitated Bridge, Outstanding CSS Bridge Design. Nominations must be recieved 4:00pm on February 26th.
