Educational Outreach Committee (EOC).

Our Education Outreach program is in full swing and we have already had many "What in the World" sessions at local Elementary schools in the Susquehanna Valley. Many more are planned for the rest of the school year. Volunteers are needed. If you would like to contribute, contact Brian Swartz.

The Collaboratory at Messiah College partnered with Rio Missions to serve a remote isolated community in Panama by building a pedestrian bridge that connects them to the nearest town. Previously they found themselves separated during the rainy season when fording the river was extremely dangerous. The bridge has large concrete and stone masonry anchors supporting a suspended cable and wooden decking superstructure that spans 260 feet.
